Uniply Industries Limited was founded in 1996.The company was originally involved in the business of plywood manufacturing. After acquiring Vector Projects (India) Private Limited, the business expanded to offer turnkey interior construction services for both commercial and residential buildings. The company entered the affordable housing construction market in 2017.
Uniply Industries Limited had sold its business by way of slump sale to Uniply Décor Limited. An application for Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process was filed by Mr. Kishan Chand Suresh Kumar (Operational creditor) against Uniply Industries Limited (Operational Debtor) for the non-payment of dues to be paid by the corporate debtor. Mr. L.V. Shyam Sundar was appointed as Interim Resolution Professional who is also the present liquidator. The public announcement for the initiation of CIRP was made in the Form-H on 08.10.2021. Expression of Interest (EOI) was published on 18.07.2023. The period of 330 days of CIRP ended on 01.01.2023 and the honorable NCLT vide its order date 03.03.2023, ordered liquidation of the corporate debtor and appointed L.V. Shyam Sundar as the liquidator. The public announcement for liquidation in Form B was published in Times of India and Dinamani on 10.05.2023 and 11.05.2023 respectively.
Presently the company is in liquidation and is in the process of sale of assets. In case any stakeholder is required to file a claim, they may submit their claims as per the claims form available on the following website: https://ibbi.gov.in/en. The stakeholders are requested to note that that the last date for filing the claim was on 08.06.2023 and as there is a delay, stakeholders are requested to approach the Hon'ble NCLT for condonation of delay in the submission of their claim.
